About Us

The Research Institute for Waldorf Education and Waldorf Publications ("RIWE/WP") is a mission-based organization.

RIWE/WP is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 membership organization of independent Waldorf schools and Waldorf teacher training institutes. It stands for healthy emotional, intellectual, and physical development for all children. It supports and promotes the understanding and practice of Waldorf education, a non-sectarian education that recognizes the spiritual nature of the human being.

In these terms and conditions, the terms “we,” “us,” “our” and “RIWE/WP” are to be taken as referring to the Research Institute for Waldorf Education and Waldorf Publications.

The Institute takes a leading role in articulating a vision and coordinating a plan for supporting the growth and development of Waldorf Education and Waldorf schools in North America.
