A New Year's Message! January 01 2026
Environmental Art by Martina Angela Müller

To Waldorf communities around the world,
Warm wishes and thanks to all of you who make Waldorf education possible: parents, teachers, administrators, maintenance people, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, donors, and foundations. And to all the passers-by who nod in a friendly way in our direction!
The warmth of the communities that surround and encourage our Waldorf schools are the reason that Waldorf schools survive and thrive. We wish to celebrate what every Waldorf school is: a place where children are recognized and seen! Where children are educated in an environment that invites them to learn, grow, and thrive.
Here at the Research Institute for Waldorf Education (RIWE) we wish you ALL a blessed New Year, filled with joy, friendship, love, and good will. We are grateful for all of you who support our work, read our blogs, buy our books, and celebrate all efforts designed to make Waldorf education the important constructive revolution it was intended to be at the start and through the century-plus-six it has continued.
May this New Year bring new things that have never been imagined before, filled with transformations of practices that support our children, so that all families meant to be in Waldorf schools are included.
May this New Year bless all of you who care for children and give you the help, strength, and resources you need to support your efforts — you who sacrifice to make a bright future for the young—we celebrate you.
Thank you for your support of RIWE, Waldorf Publications, the Online Waldorf Library, and the Research Bulletin. It’s on your behalf we do our work, because your work is the most important! May blessings be on all your ways and may your days in this New Year be bright, truthful, and good! Thank you. Thank you! Thank you!
